Life TAG
LIFE TAG is St. Paul's very own teen group. The name is teen created and stands for Live In Faith Everyday Teen Apostle Group. We have done and are still doing some pretty amazing things. Our goal, while the teens are members of LIFE TAG, is to prepare them for adult ministry. Technically, the high schoolers are adults. This puts a lot of pressure on them to participate in worship, church functions, and strengthen their own faith. For these daunting tasks, LIFE TAG offers a transition period into lifelong service and devotion to our Savior and the Church.
This year, LIFE TAG led worship with Pastor Scharrer. Through this worship service we communicated that we were starting what we call a "Service Drive". As seen in our church, there are MANY who volunteer their time to better the church and those in it. The teens and I want to do just that. For the next 8 weeks our goal is to donate 200 hours of service in and out of the church. We will be serving our Lord at St. Paul's, Fort Atkinson Food Pantry, the Escape (which is seperate from LIFE TAG), Twice as Nice, and various other areas.
If you would like to donate to the "Service Drive" there will be a sign up sheet in the Narthex with our very own LIFE TAG shirt on display. The funds that are built up through this "Service Drive" will NOT be used for our own benefit, meaning food, events, or activities. We want to give the funds back to the church in a very special way that we will bring up at the May voter's meeting. There is the option of a one time or per hour donation.
Thank you to those that have already donated. The teens were so excited to see their family of believers support them SO much and to care about what
they are doing.
