Administration
Voters' Meetings
All matters of major importance are decided at the voters' meetings, which are held in January and April as needed. Male members, 18 years of age and older, are eligible voters.
Church Council
Between congregational meetings, the temporal affairs of the congregation are administered by a church council consisting of twelve members. The council meets on the second Monday of each month to carry on the church's business.
Board of Elders
This board concerns itself primarily with members who have demonstrated laxity in attendance at the worship services and Holy Communion. An on-going program of home visitation is designed to encourage God's people to stay close to their Savior.
Board of Outreach
The Board of Outreach assists the members of the congregation for outreach to the unchurched in the community. Its goal is to invite and welcome those who have no church home and to share the good news of the Gospel of Christ.
Board of Adult Spiritual Growth
This board offers the adults of the congregation opportunities for Bible Study, fellowship, and service.
Board of Church Property
This board sees to the upkeep of the congregation's property. It reports regularly to the Church Council.
Board of Child and Family Discipleship
This board oversees our ministries to children and their families through our Lutheran Elementary School, Heart♥Land Preschool, Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and Girl and Boy Pioneers.
Board of Youth Ministry
The Board of Youth Ministry involves the young people of the congregation in the work of the church, provides for their spiritual growth, and promotes Christian fellowship. The Board also assists the Escape Teen Center, located in the lower level of the church addition.
Shepherding Network
Over 100 members of our congregation are "shepherds". These shepherds have ten persons to whome they show extra love, concern, and friendship. Each confirmed member of St. Paul's has a shepherd. The shepherds meet four times (February, May, August, and November) each year. Through contact with shepherds, St. Paul's members form warm, caring bonds with one another and, also, show love for our Savior.
