Worship Services in the Summer

From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, we worship at these times:

• Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.
• Sundays at 8:00 a.m.
• Sundays at 10:00 a.m.

Contemporary service is usually on the second Sunday of every month at 10:00 a.m.

Worship Services during the School Year

From the Sunday AFTER Labor Day weekend to the Sunday BEFORE Memorial Day weekend

• Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
• Sunday at 8 a.m.
• Sunday at 10:30 a.m.

Contemporary service is usually the second Sunday of every month at 10:30 a.m.

Communion Services

The Lord’s Supper is served on the first and third Sundays of the month at both the early and late worship services — and, also, at the previous Thursday evening services at 6:30 p.m..  At the early service on Sunday morning, communion is served in tables. At the late service on Sunday morning, communion is served in a continuous line rather than in tables.

No Thursday Evening Services in Advent and Lent

During the seasons of Advent and Christmas, and the season of Lent and Easter, the evening services on Wednesdays take the place of the Thursday evening services. Thursday night services resume on Thursday, April 8th, and then again on Thursday, January 6th, 2011

Advent Services
Midweek Advent services are:
Wednesday, December 1st at 3:30 p.m. and  6:30 p.m.
Wednesday, December 8th at 3:30 p.m. and  6:30 p.m.
Wednesday, December 15th at 3:30 p.m. and  6:30 p.m.

Advent Suppers
Advent suppers are served from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall on the Wednesdays in December when we have midweek Advent Services. These suppers are quite popular as people enjoy food for the soul and food for the body.

Children’s Christmas Service on Thursday, Dec. 23rd at 6:30 p.m.
Christmas Eve Candlelight Services on Friday, Dec. 24th at 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Christmas Day Song Service on Saturday, December 25th at 9:30 a.m.
 
New Year’s Eve
New Year’s Eve Service on Friday, December 31st at 5:30 p.m.
 
Lenten Services
Midweek Lenten services are:
Wednesday, March 9th at 3:30 p.m. and  6:30 p.m.
Wednesday, March 16th at 3:30 p.m. and  6:30 p.m.
Wednesday, March 23rd at 3:30 p.m. and  6:30 p.m.
Wednesday, March 30th at 3:30 p.m. and  6:30 p.m.
Wednesday, April 6th at 3:30 p.m. and  6:30 p.m.
Wednesday, April 13th at 3:30 p.m. and  6:30 p.m.
 
Lenten Suppers
Lenten suppers are served from 4:30 p.m. to  6:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall on the Wednesdays in Lent when we have midweek Lenten Services. The attendance at these suppers is usually quite high as people enjoy food for the soul and food for the body.

Maunday Thursday at 3:30 p.m. and  6:30 p.m.
Good Friday Children’s Service at 12:30 p.m.
Good Friday Tennebrae Service at 7:30 p.m.
Easter Sunrise at 6:00 a.m.
Easter Festival Services at 8:00 a.m. and  10:30 a.m.

Confirmation Sunday
Palm Sunday, April 17th at 10:30 a.m.
Examination is the Thursday before Confirmation Sunday.
The confirmands receive communion on Maundy Thursday.
